The first step in the process of how to make a book in Minecraft is getting the Sugar Cane. Sugar Cane will be used to craft paper.
You can get Sugar cane near the bodies of water, whether it be oceans, lakes, or rivers. In some of the worlds, you might find it difficult, but if you follow the coastline you shall make it and get the sugar cane.
Points to remember:
- Once you reach near the sugar cane plants, break them with your hands or with any tool you are having.
- You should always start finding sugar cane near warm biomes and not near frozen water as it doesn’t grow there.
- Plant some sugar cane so in the future you can have your own sugar cane farm. Placing the piece of sugar cane on dirt, sandy ground (that must be adjacent to at least one water body) will plant it.
Leather: Where and how to get it?
The next step to make a book in Minecraft is getting Leather. To get Leather, you need to find cows or llamas around the globe.
You can obtain as much leather by killing cows and llamas. Each killed would drop max. 2 units of leather and making one book would require you one piece of leather.
Going for cows will be the easiest way as they would be easy to find in any biome. So, it wouldn’t be difficult to locate and get them. Llamas however may be difficult to locate as they are rare and can be found mainly in the taiga biomes
As we discussed above, you need one piece of leather for each book you desire to craft. With cows, you can get from 0-3 units of leather, while with llamas, you can get 1-3 units. Both cows and llamas can drop more with the looting enchantment.
Once you are ready with the paper and enough quantity of leather, you can now proceed to make books in Minecraft world.
Crafting table:
You need to place one leather and 3 papers in the 3×3 grid. Leather should be placed in the lower left-hand corner and paper surrounded it in such a way that paper covers all sides of the leather.
